I heard the car door slam, and immediately looked at the clock. 9:30am! God, I am late again, this time, for the “Chopped” food network cooking competition. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chopped_(TV_series).
I faithfully watch the TV shows and I am very ichy to get in the act. Although the shows are mainly for professional chefs and I am a home cook only. But finally I made the cut to be one of the four cooks battling against each other. And I am late and miss it?!!! In the hassle and bustle NYC traffic. Mabel, how could you do that to yourself?!!! I hate myself so much, just feel like to die…
Thank god, it was a dream, hahaha, after all, there is still chance, for ME. Who knows.
In the real world, I feel the tick tick tick of the clock everyday nowadays. There’re simply so much to do. So many videos I like to take, even more I need to edit to put in Youtube. And don’t forget the blog, the learning curves of all social medias. I wish each of my fingers can handle different tasks on its own.
I finally finish pt 2 of the video: Wicked Decadent Valentine “Quickie”: 30 second Guilt Free Divine “Low Fat” Dark Chocolate Ganache “serverable” on lips or fingers — Girl Gone Wild.
H–u—h— time time time. This is 2 months’s of passion fruit (Lilikoi). Yes, 2 months. Some of them are really wrinkled. The edible part of this fruit is actually the juice of the sap around the seeds inside the 1/4 inch thick shell. And this fruit is so die hard. Anti-Oxidant, that’s the word for it. I need to take quite some time to cut that mile high of fruit and squeeze the juice out from the sap. Mine, it’d do you good putting it down your throat, on you face…
I received whole bunch of yummy goodies from the Phillipine, some “exotic” like the Pili nuts and Philippine Cacao w Malunggay Seeds. Have no idea what the heck they are.
Looks like I’d better cook up another V Day feast as all the scrumptious morsels I made already down on my stomach a while ago, w–e–l–l–, they are so good. https://mabel8ble.wordpress.com/2013/02/10/how-to-easily-swept-your-valentines-off-his-her-feet-finale-a-beautiful-romantic-easy-healthy-delicious-valentines-day-on-a-budget/
Those Philippine dried banana chips are s—o— good. Well, looks like out of time again, tick tick tick. Got to go for the next post. Sign off for now. Check out the Pili nuts, Malunggay/Seeds. Hope you all have a very fun long weekend… kitty kitty…
